Job Tuang’s Testimony:

I entered this world in Tungzang, journeyed to Malaysia, and in 2008, by God’s providence, arrived in the United States through open doors in Atlanta. For a decade, I called Atlanta home. The Lord graciously bestowed upon me a beautiful, godly wife, along with a son and a daughter. Life was good, but suddenly, like a storm, Satan struck. My wife faced an accident, and by the grace of God, she emerged as the sole survivor. Unexpectedly, my precious son and daughter fell ill, and the Lord, in His mysterious ways, called them home. Amidst the anguish and pain of these tragedies, I found myself in deep despair.

In my distress, I cried out to the Lord, questioning the purpose of my journey to the USA. “Why this hardship, weeping, and gnashing of teeth? What was the purpose of my creation in my mother’s womb? Why were children given and taken away without the chance to enjoy them?” In sorrow and desperation, I contemplated the apparent worthlessness of my life. One night, I poured out my heart in complaint to the Lord, feeling lost and hopeless, wondering if the God I worshiped was unable to help me.

In the depths of that midnight, I witnessed the Lord Jesus Christ, radiant in white, standing before me, offering words of comfort. He reassured me, “Why doubt when you can trust? I never intended harm for you. I have plans for immeasurable blessings since the day I formed you in your mother’s womb. I rescued you in Myanmar, even from the depths of a death pit. I was with you when bad people chained and shot you. Your children, too, were created for your gifts, and I have the authority to call them back to me. Did you think they were solely yours? Remember, even you were created by me. Do not mistrust me; trust me as you once did.” I replied, “Lord, how can I trust you again after all my blessings were taken away?” The Lord responded, “Blessings may come and go, but stability is fleeting. Leave this place with your wife and move to another location.” Inquiring where we should go, the Lord answered, “Just as I was with Abraham, I will be with you wherever you go. If you have faith, leave this place, and I will bless you in all aspects of your life.” Thus, in the middle of the night on October 31, 2016, we left Atlanta for Tulsa. Upon reaching the Oklahoma State border, the Holy Spirit spoke to me, urging, “In the name of Jesus Christ, take this State as the place of blessing for you, your family, and your generations!” I stopped my vehicle, stepped onto the border, and declared, “In the name of the Lord, I declare Oklahoma State the land to dwell!” Crying out to the Lord in prayer, on November 1, 2016, at 9 am, my wife and I safely reached my in-laws in Tulsa. Following the Holy Spirit’s guidance, we knelt at my in-laws’ doorsteps, seeking their blessing for offspring. Since that day, the Lord has abundantly blessed us. He granted us a healthy son, provided us a home, blessed us financially, and led us to the wonderful Myanmar Christian Church where we grow spiritually and serve the Lord faithfully.

Upon sharing my testimony of tragedies, Pastor Khai of our church suggested the name “Job Tuang,” a name I gladly embraced. Through this church, the Lord blessed us with health and offspring. Grateful for the church’s fervent prayers for offspring, we now rejoice as my wife is pregnant, and the Lord’s overflowing blessings continue in our lives. Hallelujah!
