A Journey of Faith and Service
Born in the scenic Northeast of India, my life has been a path marked by deep commitments—to family, faith, and community. Since 2009, I’ve been blessed to share this journey with my wife, Lydia Kim Khuptong, and together we are proud parents of two wonderful children, Caleb and Chingthian. Our home is now in Jenks, Oklahoma, where our family continues to grow in love and purpose.
My ministry has been both a calling and a labor of love. Beginning as an evangelist in Manipur, India, I embraced the role of chaplain and dean of students at Gilead Evangelical Theological Seminary in Bangalore, nurturing future leaders between 2008 and 2010. Since 2011, my heart has been deeply involved with the Myanmar Christian Church in Tulsa, first as a volunteer mission worker and, from 2015 onward, as an associate pastor. In these roles, I’ve directed mission outreach and cultivated men’s ministry, and recently, I’ve taken on the responsibility of leading the Adult Bible Class—an opportunity to guide and learn alongside fellow believers.
My ordination in 2016 by the Myanmar Christian Churches Fellowship of America was a milestone, affirming a journey that has spanned continents and cultures. From the humble beginnings of volunteering with Careforce in the UK to theological studies and pastoral leadership in India and the United States, each step has been a building block in this sacred vocation.
Education has been a cornerstone of my journey. I earned my Doctor of Ministry from Oral Roberts University in 2019, building on a Master of Divinity from Grace Bible College, and a Bachelor of Arts from North Eastern Hill University. Each degree has deepened my understanding and equipped me to serve with greater wisdom and compassion.
This story is one of dedication—not just to titles or roles, but to the people whose lives intersect with mine. It is in their stories, struggles, and triumphs that my own faith finds its fullest expression. As I continue this journey, I am grateful for the opportunity to lead, to listen, and most importantly, to serve.
