Meet Pau Khan Sang: A Life Devoted to Faith and Leadership
Hello, my name is Pau Khan Sang, and I’d like to share a little about my journey, my faith, and the community I serve. Born in Myanmar, I am grateful for the path that has shaped me into who I am today.
Family is at the heart of my life. I’m married to Zam Nuam Kim, and together we are blessed with two wonderful children, Gum and Itnu. We currently live in Bixby, Oklahoma, a place that has become home to us.
A Journey of Ministry
My ministry began in earnest in 2012 when I founded the Trumpet Vocal Band in Myanmar. This was just the start of my calling to serve through music and leadership.
From 2018 to 2019, I served full-time as a pastor at Fuller Mission Church-AG in Tahan, Myanmar. Since 2019, I have been honored to serve as the Youth Pastor and Music Director at the Myanmar Christian Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It’s a role that fills me with purpose every day, nurturing the next generation and leading worship through music.
Education and Growth
Education has always been a cornerstone for me. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Electrical Systems and Instrumentation Engineering from Myanmar Aerospace Engineering University in 2014. Alongside this technical foundation, I pursued theological studies, completing my Master of Divinity at Evangel Bible College in Yangon the same year.
Currently, I am expanding my knowledge and spiritual leadership by studying in the Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) program at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, aiming to deepen my impact and understanding.
In 2026, I look forward to being ordained by the Assemblies of God, Oklahoma, a milestone I eagerly anticipate as a commitment to lifelong service.
Community and Fellowship
Besides pastoral duties, I am part of the Myanmar Christian Churches Fellowship of America since 2020, connecting with fellow believers and leaders who share a vision for faith and outreach.
Looking Ahead
My journey is one of faith, family, and continuous learning. Each step, from Myanmar to Oklahoma, from engineering to ministry, has woven a story of dedication and hope. I am committed to serving my community, uplifting youth through music and leadership, and growing in faith with every opportunity.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. I look forward to what the future holds and the ways we can grow together in faith and purpose.
